Stained Glass Supplies provides a variety of workshops at novice and advanced levels. The forms covered are fused glass, fused and kiln formed glass, and etched glass. The introductory level events are designed to allow each participant to take home one or more completed objects at the end of the course. The advanced level workshops are most often focused on single techniques rather than completing an object or piece of work. Improvers can make use of the Bullseye Studio, during the day and on Saturdays by appointment, to continue working with glass.
Evening classes are held to introduce people to the satisfaction of working with light and colour. These are scheduled at various times throughout the year.
Evening open studio sessions are held for people with some experience to allow them to continue working with glass. Facilities are provided and guidance is available to assist the development of their skills in which they already have a basis. Booking by telephone or email before 1:00pm on the day is required. Classes and workshops are available to develop new skills at reduced prices for those who have already participated in a workshop with us.
These classes and workshops are held in the Verrier studio, which is attached to the Stained Glass Supplies shop. It is a bright and airy (but warm) working studio. The workshops are limited to six people to give you maximum attention. All tools and materials (and where relevant, the kiln firings) are provided in the fees.
All these classes and workshops are listed on the events section of our Facebook page.
